Dental Bridge

What is a Dental Bridge?

When there is a missing tooth and its location is empty, this will interfere with the overall aesthetics of our face and possibly with chewing or talking. If a missing tooth is located at the back of your mouth, it may disrupt eating patterns.

Or a front tooth, which is most visible when you smile. A dental bridge is one of the solutions to this issue. Most Dental bridges are made after preparing a tooth next to the missing tooth and a tooth before. Then the bridge will be fabricated at the dental lab to fit onto the prepared teeth and hold an artificial tooth in between filling up the space for the missing one.

A dental bridge also prevents the adjacent teeth from tipping toward the empty area, which may require an extra treatment in the future to get the teeth back to their normal position and restore the missing tooth with any other acceptable type of treatment.
